Who We Are...
Journey is all about people & faith in Christ!!
Christ followers living in the real world, struggeling to be the light of the world for our Lord Jesus.
Believers who work and play like every human being on the planet - but do all things for the purpose of having fellowship with the Lord God.
Ordinary people who desire to be used by the Creator to reach the world around us for the sake of Hope in Jesus.
Who are we... we are Christians that love God more than anything in the world and seek to know Him and His will for our daily living.
WE BELIEVE..
*That Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God!
*That He came once to bring salvation and is coming a second time to take all who love and serve Him on the earth to heaven forever.
*That the Bible is the inspired word of God and our guide in this life.
*That the Holy Spirit is the third part of the Holy Trinity and given to all believers through our faith in Jesus Christ.
*That Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ the Holy one. The Christ or Messiah that was written about in the Old Testament by the Prophets of God long ago.
*That Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, that He lived on the earth in the flesh as the Son of God. That He choose 12 Apostles and taught them for 3 years the things of His Father. That He foretold of His death, Burrial and Resurrection and that He said that He would return to the Father from which He came, but that He would not leave us alone, but would send the Holy Spirit to live in us forever.
*That He would be crucified and die on the cross. And that he would rise from the dead and give evidence for His resurrection in the flesh to those living at the time.
*That He ascended into Heaven and will be back.
* That the Church is made up of Human beings that have received the very presence of Jesus in thier lives through faith and make up the body of Christ on earth today.
Journey gathering is moving to Sun. @ 4:30...
BEGINNING... Sunday, Feb. 8th Journey will be moving our Sunday Morning, 'Journey Gathering' to Sunday afternoon - We will be calling this new gathering :
'JOURNEY430'
At the 4:30 hr. we will be offering a light meal to anyone who would like to come and join us in that time of fellowship & food.
At the 5:30 hr. we will move into our time of Praise - Either with the Journey Worship Band, led by Daniel Barnett or we will have special guests join us to lead our hearts in worship.
We are excited about the possiblities of reaching out to more people through this effort and building relationships with those who would appreciate a nice meal and worship experience!!
